The CSCS Labourer Card is for those who want to work within the construction industry on the ground in labouring occupations (manual work).
It doesn't confer any particular skill but is very popular with CPCS card holders as it is means when the machine is quiet, the operator can get out and be able to help on the ground. This makes the individual a multi-qualified versatile and flexible worker for employers.
It is also a great starting point for those looking to get started in the construction industry.
It is the replacement for the green CSCS Construction Site Operative card which has been withdrawn.
There are a number of qualifications that are acceptable to CSCS to be able to apply for this card* and Main Training Ltd are pleased to be able to offer the accepted RQF Level 1 Award Health & Safety in a Construction Environment.
Unlike some of the other acceptable qualifications, this is a qualification for life which means when you renew your card after the 5-year period you will only need to do the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test to renew.
* a CITB Health, Safety & Environment test pass not older than two-years at the time of applying for the card is also required.
