Forward Tipping Dumpers are an extremely useful and flexible machine, capable of carrying large loads and handling a variety of terrains. They are used widely throughout construction and land-based industries.

Main Training Ltd offers dumper plant training and testing at our Sussex centre for candidates looking to gain their CPCS Red Trained Operator Card as well as testing for Competent (Blue) Card holders that need to renew.

Achieving the required standard to gain a CPCS Card demonstrates that you can work safely and efficiently and it is the benchmark requirement for many large construction companies.

For the red card, we offer two courses:

  • Novice – This course is suitable for candidates with little or no experience. It includes a theory preparation session, a practical training session and is delivered over a 2 or 3-day period depending on the number of attendees.

  • Experienced – This course is for experienced operators using dumpers on a daily or frequent basis.  It includes a theory prep session and then then test day and is delivered over a 2-day period.

Candidates are able to just book the test day but should familiarise themselves with the theory and practical test requirements. These can be found on the NOCN Jobcards website.

Pre-course Requirements

Delegates must have passed the NOCN CPCS or CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test which should have been taken not more than 2 years before the date of the technical test.
