Excavator 360 Training for Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire

Excavator 360 Operators are always in demand and we offer courses for complete novices through to experienced operators who need the CPCS card to start or progress their career. The CPCS A59 category gives you the ticket to operate machines above and below 10 tonnes whilst the CPCS A58 category gives you the ticket to operate machines below 10 tonnes only.

On passing the course you will have achieved the CPCS Trained Operator (red) card, which demonstrates that you have been trained to operate the machine safely and efficiently.  CPCS is the most widely recognised construction card in the UK and the benchmark standard for most large construction sites.

If you already hold the 'Red' card we can advise on how to get your  Competent Operator or 'Blue' card and for 'Blue' card holders we can advise on renewing.

The length of the course depends on the experience of the candidate.

  • Novice – This is a 5 or 7-day digger plant training course, held at our centre in Sussex, which includes a day for testing and is designed for operators with either basic experience or none at all.

  • Intermediate - this is a 3 or 4-day course which involves either 2 or 3 days of training and the test day.

  • Experienced – this is a 2-day course which includes a day for testing. This digger plant training course, also held at our Sussex facility, is specifically for experienced operators who have the industry experience and now need the ticket to demonstrate that.

Operators are able to book just the test day. We strongly advise however that the candidate visits the NOCN Jobcards website to familiarise themselves with the theory and practical test requirements.

Pre-course Requirements

Delegates must have passed the appropriate CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. This must have been taken no more than 2 years before the date of the technical test.
