This course is a novice course. Free assessment sessions are available if you are unsure which length course is right for you. This course includes a theory preparation session, 7 days of practical training and the test day. The course has a ratio of 1 machine per candidate. The machines are of differing sizes.

If you don't see dates that suit do get in touch, we are usually able to accommodate most requests. We are able to offer weekend training also. You must have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test not more than 2 years ago, if you are unsure we can check this for you.

On passing the course you will have achieved the CPCS Trained Operator Card (Red Card). This is valid for a 2-year period only, the next step will be to gain the NVQ for the machine and then the CPCS Competent Operator Card (Blue Card) can be applied for. The blue card is valid for a 5-year period and is renewable.
